Natalia Ogorelysheva, PhD candidate at the Faculty of Computer Science at TU Dortmund University, has been accepted into the FemaleFounders@CET programme.

Natalia Ogorelysheva, PhD candidate at the Faculty of Computer Science at TU Dortmund University, has been accepted into the FemaleFounders@CET programme [1] - a 10-month initiative funded under the EXIST-Women programme [2] of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, supporting women from TU Dortmund in developing their entrepreneurial ideas.

The acceptance marks the latest milestone in a long-standing engagement with technology transfer and entrepreneurship. Since 2018, Ogorelysheva has been actively involved in applied research and startup initiatives at the intersection of academia and industry. As Robotics Team Lead, she contributed to SLAPStack [3] - an EXIST-funded deep tech startup developing an AI-based operating system for autonomous block storage warehouses, which secured second place at the start2grow competition [4]. In parallel, she led the development of LARS (Laser-AR-Safe) [5] at Fraunhofer IML - an innovative laser-based guidance system for warehouses - from concept to MVP within a few months, with successful client testing.

Beyond her own projects, Ogorelysheva actively supports startups she believes in, including Borderless Technologies GmbH [6], a Dortmund-based tech company, and Symind [7].

Within the FemaleFounders@CET programme, she will be developing her mission-driven idea: supporting small and medium-sized enterprises through change management, with a focus on transformation and digitalisation projects that include cultural shift as an integral component. The FemaleFounders@CET programme offers individual coaching, mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, workshops on business development, pitching and financing, as well as access to the CET network and infrastructure. Participation also includes the possibility of a three-month stipend.
