Reliable AI supported planning for small- and medium-sized businesses
Problem
Stock management inside warehouses of small- to medium-sized businesses is often done by its own branch where employees procure the necessary stock based on their individual knowledge and experience. This knowledge and experience is data that is often lost when an employee leaves the company. Furthermore, this data may not sufficiently account for all complex market situations.
Goal
The goal of this project is to create a reliable AI based tool for stock management. The tool should allow users to customize the AI’s process to consider the individual companies situation.
We will contribute to this project by developing a testing framework that guarantees the AI’s reliability when managing stock. Additionally, we will be supporting the modular development, piloting and validation of the AI based planning tool. We will also be supporting the standardisation process to make this tool usable for a wider range of businesses.
